At La Mar d’Amunt we are situated in a sensational microcosm in the extreme north east of the Alt Empordà. The land has been fertile and generous since the beginning of time, with spectacular scenery. Land with personality, that gives up the best it has to offer. The closeness of the sea. The fishermen’s market. The cooking of the ‘Suquet’ (fish stew). The direct contact with the men of the sea, understanding their struggle, touching the produce, smelling the aromas and letting our senses carry you away.
